Special recognition was presented to the athlete designated by the judges as the athlete who showed great sportsmanship, comradery and mentorship to fellow athletes. This athlete also performed well in her division placing Beta (2nd), and having a positive demeanor throughout the day’s event.

Battle Under The Stars II is honored to give back to our local community in 2024.
We partnered up with Next Door Solutions to raise funds and collect full size items for domestic abuse survivors.

I discovered strongman training as a hobby about 6 years ago. I earned Pro status in 2022 and achieved one of my biggest goals of becoming America’s Strongest Woman in 2023!
Matt Webb
I first competed in strongman in 2015 and have been hooked ever since. I have traveled the country many times over doing local shows, many Nationals, and Official Strongman Games three times. I finally reached the podium in 2023! I still love to compete as well as coach, sponsor, and promote the amazing athletes in this sport.

Epic Women’s Strongman Event Competition in San Jose, CA

On a sunny day in San Jose, CA, an extraordinary event unfolded that showcased the incredible strength and determination of female athletes from across the United States. Organized by Letia Tybor of Distance Unlimited, the Women’s Strongman Competition brought together a fierce group of competitors who pushed their limits in a series of intense challenges, judged by none other than the esteemed pro athletes Gabi Dixon , Erin Murray, Angelica Jardine, Nadia Morrison, Brittany Diamond and Matt Webb. I had the honor of covering this event for the second year in a row, capturing each competitor’s strength, endurance and empowerment of each other. They all rooted each other on and gave each other pointers and tips! It is always great to be amongst women who lift each other up!
